Next Step Connect doesn't just provide basic household items for the newly homed. We continue to support people with our community lunches, shopping trips to food banks, fund-raising activities and more!

- We started a Go Fund Me Campaign to raise money for Nugget, the pet of one of the people we support, who needed his front leg amputated and successfully reached our goal of $2900

- The charity raised $17,500 to purchase a Kia Carnaval to pick up donations, transport people, and deliver items on the wish list to the newly homed.

- I raised over $600 during 2 x 6 day walks in Scotland

- We hold monthly community lunches, including an amazing Christmas Lunch with hampers and presents. Many supporters pay it forward so that the people we support can attend for free.

- We sell raffle tickets at our Op Shop to raise money for our food pantry.

- We held a fundraising dinner at Grill'd and received the bonus monthly cheque for the most votes.

- We opened our Op Shop in October 2026 so we can provide new white goods to the newly homed.

- Containers for Change will deposit directly into our account if you use the number or bar code.

- We have a food bank open each Wednesday for people who may need extra help with their groceries.
